This seven week full-church immersion series is designed to teach congregations and small groups, in a non-threatening way, how to talk about God outside of the church walls. It can be used for a stand alone small group or for an all-church sermon immersion series. For each of the seven weeks there is a sermon outline, suggested liturgy and songs, a small group leader's study and daily devotionals. A smaller, daily devotional book may be purchased separately for each participant. This project was designed to have a positive impact on church membership, from the small to the large. While it does have a Wesleyan feel of grace, it can empower all participants to claim and tell their God stories through relational evangelism. Participating congregations come alive while learning to share their faith stories beyond church walls so that others want to be a part of what God is doing. While this series is designed to be an all church immersion study, it can also simply be used by any small group leader in order to empower small groups of any kind to share their God stories. The pastors and small group leaders would use this book, the accompanying devotional book would be purchased and used by the small group or congregational participants. This project was originally created for a doctoral program, and has had a positive impact on the many test churches used in the study. The detailed results showed congregants learned how to share their God stories and became more willing to share their God stories, therefore inviting more people into the life of the church. These pilot churches are still sharing new and exciting "God stories!"
