Fleeing a mean stepfather in Texas, Billy-Boy arrives in South Florida with his mother and two sisters at the beginning of summer. W. Nikola-Lisa is professor emeritus at National-Louis University in Chicago, Illinois where he taught in the Graduate School of Education. He is the author of numerous books for a variety of age levels.
