Shattered Fate is the brainchild of two authors, Linda Fagala and Karen Pugh. The Belinda and Robert saga came to Linda after reminiscing about some of the fun experiences that occurred during her college years and is loosely based on those events. She approached Karen about turning the idea into a romance novel. Karen's experiences in nursing and varied life interests, contributed to the theme of the plot.
