These people will struggle through life's most imposing questions facing all of us. What is God's definition of a person: body, mind, soul and spirit? Does the soul exist in two dimensions simultaneously and live beyond the body's death? Why does God save them, only to allow them to continue to suffer physically, emotionally and spiritually in this world? Why is evil so adamant in attempting to break their relationship with God? Can they trust God enough to survive in a world that doesn't accept them? Recorded in the words of those persons' experiencing them, some of life's hardest issues are investigated, illustrated and documented in these books; spiritual warfare, clergy abuse, Satanic Ritual Abuse, evil in everyday life, spiritual healing and the reality of the power of the Kingdom of God at work in and around us. As the author of this series and a pastor & counselor specializing in spiritual issues I include a running commentary of their journey as a clinical study of their journey with their first counselor and then with me. I include definitions of terms used for understanding the care given then and what we learn together about God's love, healing, plans and will for all of His children.How God chooses to reveal His love and power, while confronting evil in the midst of their pain and suffering, through forgiveness, mercy and truth will challenge your concepts of Him and His love. Our purposes together in these books is not to focus on understanding their experiences, my understanding of them or their "disorders", but to help all those going through similar struggles in search of hope and healing to see and hear how Jesus responds to their needs and why... to know that God in Jesus Christ is trustworthy and true. While this book covers the next 4 years, I am updating the information shared in the prefaces and prologues of both books to include new understanding of these issues learned over the next 20 years of my counseling relationships with hundreds of clients / friends and their journeys to understand who God is and why He loves them...and why they can trust Him. However, their personal stories will be revealed in another series without any added commentary or study by me, which are autobiographical in nature in the Loved Back to Life Series being released in May 2020. Our hope with this new series is the same as with Shattered People thatour readers will have more support for opportunities to know and trust our Heavenly Father's unconditional love for them...that He has never left them and is waiting for them to receive His love. Michael E. Chalberg is pastor and cofounder of Shepherd's Care Ministries in Gilbert, Arizona. He offers 3 primary areas of ministry; Pastoral Counseling & Mentoring over the Internet and privately; Christian Renewal as an Intentional-Interim Pastor & Consultant; and building Community Outreaches in and out of the church. He has been in ministry 44 years, working as an interim minister for 23 years offering renewal and healing to troubled communities of faith, using conflict resolution, leadership training, restoration of Biblical Disciplines, instruction in spiritual warfare & deliverance ministry and establishing prayer teams to support a laity-empowered church. The past 26 years he has specialized in pastoral counseling to survivors of ritual abuses; Clergy Abuse; sexual abuse; Incest; Satanic Ritual Abuse; Human Trafficking of Minors; Pornography; Domestic Violence; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; Dissociative Identity Disorder (MPD); and other trauma induced issues in adults and children. Several clients gave permission to publish their spiritual journeys of healing with him in this first published series Shattered People Series: Journeys to Joy (2003) & Love (2005) revised & updated to release in December 2020. Their stories include my commentary as counselor, pastor, friend and fellow traveler.
