ANNE MARIE MACARI is the author of two previous books, Gloryland (Alice James, 2005), and Ivory Cradle, which won the APR/Honickman first book prize in 2000, chosen by Robert Creeley. Macari was the recipient of the James Dickey prize for poetry from Five Points Magazine and her poems have appeared in numerous journals such as: The Iowa Review, The American Poetry Review, TriQuarterly, Field, and others. Macari is the director of the Drew University Low-Residency MFA Program in Poetry and Poetry in Translation.
