John Paul lives in Cabbagetown, a Toronto downtown neighbourhood abounding in rare birds and odd bods. Perched in his barber's chair he writes children's novels, short stories, poems, and articles. The Rooster and the Raven King & The Rise of the Crimson King, Books II & III of The Song of Fridorfold trilogy, pursue Cary, Clarisse and Gregory on their fantastic adventures.
