As said, this theme is only a thread which winds its way through the book. The bulk of the poetry, however, is quite varied in style and content. There is humor, nonsense, garden poetry, veteran recognition, and poems covering a wide variety of life's experiences. It is probable that you will find familiar territory within the pages, bringing to mind your own history of the man-woman relationship. Too, you will probably relate to most of the other poetry as you have lived in relationship to God, country and just plain old living of life we all experience.
