The authors of the present work are teachers and researchers of the Nautical and Machinery Technical School of the UDC (Spain) and of the Gdynia Maritime University (Poland), as well as Chief Engineers and Engine Officers of the Merchant Navy, showing together a suitable curriculum for the teaching of equipment and services of merchant ships.
