Autorenporträt
Mr. Robert W. Lailheugue III is a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Navy. Upon discharge from military service, he went to work for the largest sheriff's office in the State of Louisiana. As a police officer, Mr. Lailheugue worked in a number of different capacities including undercover vice squad officer, patrol officer, canine handler (both narcotics and patrol), bomb technician, sergeant (Patrol and Canine Divisions), and finally Commander of the Canine and Emergency Divisions. After leaving the sheriff's office, he went to work for a large nuclear utility company where he started up and operated the security department at one of the company's nuclear power plants. He later moved out of security and moved into other management positions within the company before retiring in 2004. He is married to his high school sweetheart and currently living in South Louisiana where they have raised their two children. When not traveling, they attend the Harbor Church in Hammond, Louisiana, where they are actively serving in the Christian community. Mr. Lailheugue enjoys hunting, fishing and serving the Lord. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and has attended numerous law enforcement, security and management schools.
