Licenciado en Medicina por la Facultad de Medicina de Juazeiro do Norte. Residencia Médica en Psiquiatría. Máster en Salud de la Familia por la Universidad Federal de Ceará y profesor titular de la misma institución. También es profesor de UNINTA y preceptor del programa de residencia médica en psiquiatría en Sobral-CE.
