Autorenporträt
David was raised outside a small town in the Ozark Mountains and brought up in a hard-working, third-generation roofing family where he was taught honesty and life's principles. He went on to choose a career serving his country in the United States military and the Coast Guard. Growing up, David always enjoyed rhyming poetry, and after he retired, he was inspired to write his own poems after becoming godparent to three-year-old Annsley. He is a lover of cars and owned several street rods, tractors, and trucks. He is a self-professed workaholic, and in his time off, he likes to take drives to the river to reflect. He lives in McGehee, Arkansas, with his wife, Polly.
