Acclaimed sporting writer Michael McIntosh calls this classic book, perhaps his most well known, "a celebration of the gun." It captures the gun as a complex, fascinating combination of form and function -- told, as always, in McIntosh's relaxed, conversational style. The first part is about the art of guns and gun making, and the second section is devoted to the art of shooting.
