Bryant Ford was a pseudonym of novelist, playwright, and screenwriter Michael Blankfort (1907-1982). He was a prolific writer, though "Show Business" (1939) was the only time he used this pseudonym. Under his own name he wrote such thrillers as "The Widow-Makers," "The Juggler," and "I Met a Man." In Hollywood, his numerous film credits included "The Plainsman," "The Juggler," "The Caine Mutiny," and "Tribute to a Bad Man."
