I grew up in Hong Kong and married a foreign correspondent, so I've lived in many places around the world. I think these circumstances accustomed me to a variety of different cultures and ways of living, and given me some understanding about how people react to the unexpected - in the case of this book, aliens and unimagined situations!

Now I live in Devon, England, and lead a very different but still exciting life with my husband Tony.
