Dr. Martha Jo Atkins death and dying educator and executive director at ABODE Contemplative Care for the Dying in San Antonio, Texas. Through live events, on-demand courses, and coaching, Dr. Atkins teaches about the trajectory of dying. Atkins works with people at end-of-life and those who love them. Her first book Signposts of Dying was published in 2016. Prior to owning her own training and consulting company, Dr. Atkins founded a the Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas where she served as executive director for eight years.
