Dominic Bercier (he/him) is a Franco-Ontarian-Canadian, classically trained illustrator, designer, comics writer and publisher. He is also a singer-songwriter. At Mirror Comics Studios, in Ottawa, he has been principal creator, owner and founder, since 06.06.2015, and has over 30 years of experience in comics, graphic novels, bandes dessinées and visual storytelling. He is as an Associate of OCAD, with a degree in illustration which he earned while drawing backgrounds for Image Comics, Dark Horse, Top Cow and others. Bercier is bipolar, and tells of his unique insight into mental health and magic in the stories of The PopTerra Collection and SIGNAL Saga, as well as in the inspirational non-fiction Hope Book, in which he champions secret empaths, indie comics, books, music, animation and art. He is a multi-award-nominated Canadian cartoonist with the goal of making the world a better place through creativity, art and culture. He is the creator of several graphic novels and bandes dessinées since 1990. :)
