"How many times do I have to tell you . . . ?" As parents, we've all faced times where our emotions react and overreact to a child's behavior. There are good days and bad days--moments we're proud of and moments we'd like to try again. In Signals, teacher Cherilyn Orr introduces the Stoplight Approach, a framework that integrates brain science and the Bible to give parents and their children simple, practical tools to make clear-headed decisions during the often chaotic episodes of family life. Like a traffic light sending signals to drivers, the human brain directs its own sort of traffic, guiding our emotions and behaviors and sending signals to those around us. Signals teaches parents how to understand and respond to a child's actions in a way that meets their need for discipline, love, and safety, while preserving a loving, connected relationship.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
