I published an article, "Before You Buy First Horse" with Horsepower Magazine, in 1995 after completing a course with The Institute of Children's Literature. I was a single mom with two small kids at that time and didn't do anymore writing until a year ago when I started working on Silent Twin. I had the idea at least 15 years ago but never did anything with it. My kids are now grown and on their own and I sat at the computer one day and the ideas came pouring out. I wouldn't have completed this without the moral support of my daughter, Kristin; my son, Zachary; my mom, Judy and a dear friend of mine, Jennifer Edwards. I live in northern Wyoming and own a sub shop my sister and I started in 2001. I love to write, music and horses.
