Also the experimental details on synthesis of silica aeroges by new rapid supercritical extraction process within 3 h of total processing time, i.e. direct sol to aerogels are discussed in details.

Dr. Dinesh B. Mahadik completed his Ph.D. from Shivaji University on Silica Aerogels. He was worked as JRF & SRF on research project on aerogels funded by DAE-BRNS Mumbai. He was worked on emissivity & AR coatings at NAL Bangalore.Now he is doing Post-Doc at Yonsei University Korea.He has published 22 papers & a book in the field of silica aerogels
