Produktbeschreibung
Concrete is a material used in the construction of a high rise building, coastal, offshore sea structures and other industrial structures for a long time. The recent technological advances have extended its use to special applications like aircraft engine test cells, nuclear reactor vessels, nuclear bunker busters, nuclear stock pits, missile launching pads etc. It is now possible to look at relative methodology that is required in concrete for various applications and where an admixture is typically used to achieve the requirements. In order to aid in this adaptation process various chemical admixture are added. Silica fume concrete today is widely appreciated for its ability to enhance the properties of concrete. With the developments in the field of admixtures today it is possible to produce concretes with enhanced properties. Keeping this in mind, the aim of this experimentation is to find out the strength and durability characteristics of concrete containing different percentage silica fume by replacing the cement by silica fume along with the combination of more than two admixtures.
