Biosynthesis of nanoparticles is a novel way to synthesis nanoparticles by using biological sources. It is gaining attention due to its cost effective, eco-friendly, non-toxic, energy efficient, less time consuming, environmentally safe and protecting human health. Biosynthesis of nanoparticles is an eco-friendly approach which might have the way for researchers across the globe to explore the potential of different herbs in order to synthesize nanoparticles. Metal nanoaprticles have received significant attention in recent years owing to their unique properties and applications. The present book deals with the medicinal plants studied where fruit, root, bark and bark mediated biosynthesis of Nobel metal nanoparticles. The characterization of metal nanoparticles have been performed using UV-Visible spectrophotometer, Fourier Transform Infra-red Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).
