Maguire, the Giustina Professor of Forest Management and Director of the Center for Intensive Planted-forest Silviculture (CIPS) at Oregon State University; Timothy B. Harrington, a Research Forester for the Pacific Northwest Research Station, USDA Forest Service in Olympia, Washington; and John D. Bailey, Associate Professor in the Department of Forest Engineering, Resources, and Management at Oregon State University.
