Water has become a valuable commodity in the ever crowded world. In fact, access to fresh water as the UN anticipates will be among the most difficult challenges in the upcoming years. There are various methods of abstracting fresh water but they tend to be overcomplicated and massively expensive. In this project, I present a relatively simple yet cost-effective technique by using membrane filters. These techniques can be particularly helpful in developing countries with growing populations and limited resources.

Autorenporträt
Yasir studied Civil Engineering at Umm Al-Qura University before embarking on a position in Makkah's Municipality and other posts in the private sector. He then went to Newcastle University to study his Masters degree in Environmental Engineering which he received in 2008. He currently works in Operations and Maintenance in UQU.
