Dr. Ramirez is a Vascular Neurologist specializing in the prevention and treatment of neurologic emergencies such as strokes and brain hemorrhages. Growing up, he never envisioned of becoming a doctor, though his admiration of the human body while studying anatomy in college lead him down the path of becoming the first physician in his family. Trained at renowned academic institutions in Los Angeles, he now works in Southern California at one of the most reputable hospital systems in the nation. His published research is in the top 5% of all research outputs ever tracked by Altmetric. Importantly to him, his experiences ignited a passion for stroke prevention, driving him to integrate disease prevention and community education into his practice.
