Simulation is a teaching tool increasingly used in initial training for healthcare students. It provides real-time training in which learners themselves mobilize the knowledge they have acquired in theory classes, with the aim of improving their technical skills (gestures, etc.) and non-technical skills (diagnostic reasoning, team behavior, use of resources, etc.). The prognosis of RTAs depends, on the one hand, on the performance of technical and therapeutic gestures included in a management algorithm and, on the other hand, on good interaction between the various team members involved. In this context, we carried out a prospective observational study involving 32 3rd-year anesthesia and intensive care students, with the aim of assessing the contribution of simulation-based training to theoretical knowledge of adult RTA management.
