The modeling of yield variables requires information from trials measured temporally and frequently. When sufficient information is not available over years, projections of variables over time may be inaccurate. The objective of this research was to model the pulpable volume yield of Pinus radiata, evaluating the effect of information availability and the interval of years used in projections of dominant height (HD), mortality (N), basal area (AB) and volume (V) yields. The study was carried out in three stages: in the first stage, HD, AB and N models with the best performance were tested and…mehr

The study was carried out in three stages: in the first stage, HD, AB and N models with the best performance were tested and selected. In the second, the selected models were adjusted using reduced information in terms of the measurement age of the trials, and volume yield simulations were performed at different harvest ages at different stand densities. In the third, HD, AB, N and V variables were projected at different projection time amplitudes.
