This work is divided into three chapters. The objective of the first chapter is the bibliographic study on the dynamics in machining to know the different areas of modeling the cutting forces in milling. The objective of the second chapter is the state of the art of the study of the dynamics of cutting in milling, presenting the different methods that allow the determination of stability maps or lobes. In the third chapter we developed a simulation program in Matlab, which allows us to obtain the stability lobes, and we presented the influence of different parameters on the stability limits in the case of profile milling, in order to be able to choose the optimal cutting conditions. We propose a general conclusion recalling the strong points of this work, while proposing perspectives.
