Autorenporträt
Odette Elina was a political activist from a young age who was arrested by the Gestapo and deported to Auschwitz in 1944. Her family did not survive, but she was freed by the Russians in 1945 and returned to her native France. Upon her death, she left all her assets to the French Communist Party.
