It could be his genetics, his father being an architect in Sioux Falls for nearly 40 years, or that he was born at the time of urban renewal and never had a chance to see many of the city's earliest buildings, but one thing is sure: Dr. Rick D. Odland is an avid collector of Sioux Falls history.
