Retired Air Force Colonel Steve Johnson has traveled the globe. His military career took him to 40 states and 26 countries. Steve has written speeches and Congressional testimony for Air Force general officers, been published in The Christian Chronicle, and has a popular travel blog. He has worked with church youth groups for more than two decades and taught at Foundation Christian Academy in Florida. In 2015, Steve and his wife, Janet, sold their home and now travel the country by RV, trying to make a difference in the lives of people they meet along the way. He brought his adventurous passion to the Appalachian Trail.
