Ken Baldwin was captivated early on as a child with the vivid illustrations of Treasure Island by N.C. Wyeth.The early 1970s, while attending art school in Cincinnati for design, advertising and illustration, set the course for the direction of his career. After serving with the US Naval Weather Service as an Illustrator, Ken eventually transferred to the Naval Oceanographic Office and then on to the Army as a civilian graphic artist, illustrator and entertainment director.Sir Late-A-Lot launches Ken into the world of children's books as the first collaboration of his original art and writings, chosen from a collection of many humorous poems for both children and adults.
