Touching both heaven and earth, profound Buddhist thought unfolds in splendid epic stories in Six Months with Buddha. With the teachings of the Buddha and one of his foremost disciples, Sariputta, hovering gently in the background, tales of faith and devotion, betrayal and revenge, and hatred and forgiveness are spun--from previous lives to the present, in a magnificent symphony orchestrated between Bhaddiya, the king of Sakya, his queen consort Ayutha, and Binggisa, who loves Ayutha.
