Susan Delaney is a smart, attractive, loyal woman, whose parents taught her that all good things are possible with hard work. They provided her with the best education that money could buy. However, Susan sacrifices her entire law career to marry Jeremy. Disapproving of her choice of husband and her decision to walk away from her career, Susan's father distances himself from their lives, leaving Susan feeling isolated and defenseless against the man she married. Skeletons in the Closet is an evocative, true-to-life story filled with adultery, domestic violence, and emotional abuse, and portrays the lengths that a victim of abuse will go to in an attempt to maintain appearances with hopes of saving their marriage and family, even their lives. But in Jeremy and Susan's situation, in the end someone will be imprisoned, someone will die, and everyone's lives will be changed forever.
