Lauren has an extraordinary gift for explaining intimidating, theological ideas in easy-to-understand ways that keep the reader or listener wanting more. She has authored a book on Genesis titled Forgotten Faith: Awakening a Hope We No Longer Know, co-authored a small group Bible journaling book titled Sketching Scripture, and is currently working on a book on one of the Old Testament minor prophets. Lauren holds a master's degree in Christian Apologetics from NEW ORLEANS BAPTIST THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY and a bachelor of arts degree in Religion from BAYLOR UNIVERSITY. She is a teacher, learner, researcher, and animal lover who lives on a ranch in Gladewater, Texas, with her husband, Justin.¿
