Specific knowledge of breast pathology was judged to be more satisfactory among residents who had completed specialized internships. Eight students completed the satisfaction questionnaire. Six were generally satisfied with their time on the ward. The other 2 were less satisfied. Sixty-seven percent of students in the experimental group were satisfied with the supervision of their internship, compared with 40% in the control group.
