Haunted by tragedy and an impending divorce from Madeleine, the love of his life, Jared meets up with William Posely who has baggage of his own. Being a recently deposed pilot from the United States Air Force, as well as having a disgruntled personality, William is unlikely as a candidate to become Jared's best friend. However, the two share a chemistry and passion that immediately seals them as friends and brothers. Amongst a host of unforgettable characters Jared stumbles into science fiction becoming science fact: someone is cloning people in the outback of Seward's folly. Jared makes the discovery by running into a carbon copy of Madeleine and falls into the adventure of a lifetime all the while exorcising his own personal demons. The action and suspense are non-stop as the creators of life seek to end the life of Jared and his cohorts. Can the good guys get the goods on the cloners and have them exposed before it is too late?

Wade Powers learned the value of the written word while growing up in . After a stint in the Air Force, he graduated with a business degree from Cal State University Bakersfield. For more than two decades he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller before retiring to a career in writing. Wade's website is www.yellowriter.com and was aptly named by his wife, Annie, who dubbed her husband as the master of artistic license. Wade is gifted in stretching the truth, hence yellow journalism. He has completed two novels, Skinware and Specter of an Accident, and has composed a handbook for starting Christian divorce support groups called The Covenant Divorce Recovery Leader's Handbook. To complement the handbook, Wade also published The Covenant Divorce Recovery Student Workbook so group members can follow along the facilitator's instruction by filling in the blanks and journalizing. Wade has also put together a collection of love poems titled To my Annie. His current novel, The Resurrection Factor, is near completion and a second batch of one hundred love poems is soon to go to press as To my Annie II. The couple live in with their two spoiled toy poodles named Kiki and Jett. Wade and Annie have five adult children.
