Autorenporträt
Susan Scarince Jones is a mixed media fine artist with a background in commercial design. A few of years ago, on a whim, she bought herself a fancy Nikon camera. The only problem was, she had no idea how to use it. She always had an aversion to reading instructions, so instead, she began to experiment with the settings while taking photos in her flower garden. She was finally getting the hang of it, when a very cute and nosey chipmunk appeared. She named him "Skippy" and he became her new focus. After taking countless photos of the little guy, not to mention going through bags of birdseed and peanuts, it took her in a new direction. The photos of Skippy seemed ideal for creating children's stories! Susan and her husband live in Northern New Jersey. They have two grown children and a sweet grand daughter. And oh yes, a nutty chipmunk who loves to have his picture taken!
