Autorenporträt

A resident of Skipton Ken Ellwood first moved there in the 1950s to take up a post with the West Riding County Council. Since then he and his wife have immersed themselves in the life and history of Skipton, taking up membership of several local history societies. Now retired Ken gives talks and slide shows on his hobbies, which include aerial photography, walking and steam locomotion. Ken's previous books include Skipton: A Pictorial Recollection, Life in Old Skipton, Skipton: Images of England and Skipton Through Time.
