Laurell Lane lives in the wheat fields of Montana with her dogs, Julia, Romeo and special needs cat, Willow along with many other friends at the Blue Heron Animal Shelter.In addition, Lane, a Child Development Specialist with a Master's Degree in Social Work, combines years of experience with her work as a Child & Family Therapist, Juvenile Probation Officer and Home Health/Hospice Social Worker to create stories that encourage readers to use problem-solving strategies and ways to develop higher self -esteem, much like the characters in the books she shares.
