Autorenporträt
Nicole Lapierre is a sociologist and anthropologist. Director of research at the CNRS (Center Nacional de la Recherche Scientifique), she works on studies of memory, identities and relationships between different generations. She published her first book, La femme majeure, in 1973, in collaboration with Edgar Morin and Bernard Paillard. Subsequently, she has written Le Silence de la Mémoire among others.
