Autorenporträt
Linda Medleau wurde 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio geboren. An der Ohio State University erhielt sie 1979 den DVM und absolvierte im Anschluss ein einjähriges Internship an der Michigan State University. Sie spezialisierte sich zunehmend auf Hauterkrankungen. 1982 erhielt sie den Masters Degree der University of Georgia. Eine zweijährige Residency an der University of Pennsilvania folgte. 1988 wurde sie Assistenzprofessorin und 7 Jahre später erhielt sie die Stelle als Professorin. Inzwischen ist sie auf dem Gebiet der Veterinärdermatologie eine absolute Koryphäe und wurde vielfach ausgezeichnet.
