"Sammy's in Love" was published in Eyetalian Magazine (Toronto). "The Best of Friends" won first prize in an international fiction contest sponsored by Castalia Bookmakers Inc. and appeared in the Summer/Fall 1991 issue of Wellspring. Those two stories, "Pony Express," and "Rita McCrae" were all included in the chapbook, Four of a Kind, (Pachyderm Press, Winnipeg, 1994).
