Chris Arnot has been a freelance journalist and author for over 25 years, writing for the Guardian on everything from arts and travel to education and social issues, as well as the Independent, the Observer, the Times and the Daily Telegraph. Chris has also written six books of his own, including Britain's Lost Cricket Grounds and Britain's Lost Mines. Along with The Archers script-writer Simon Frith, Chris co-wrote The Archers Archives for BBC Books.
