Autorenporträt
Carole Fréchette was born in Montréal and is the author of fifteen plays. She was awarded the prestigious Siminovitch Prize in Theatre in 2002, and has twice received the Governor General's Literary Award for Drama. John Murrell is one of Canada's most frequently produced playwrights, whose work has been translated into numerous languages and presented throughout the world. He is also a translator of Chekhov and Ibsen, among others, and of eight plays by Carole Fréchette, all of which have been published by Playwrights Canada Press. Murrell is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a recipient of the Governor General's Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement.
