This book looks at food security from an African perspective and how it is influenced by insecurity, insufficiency, poverty, hunger and innovation. Climate change, lack of resources and little market accessibility are current threat to food production, food accessibility and food security. Temperature rise and variability in rainfall patterns has had serious consequences on crop and livestock production in Nigeria leading to a decline in food production and accessibility. Smart Agripreneurship (SA) is the way to turn around the situation to more resilience and higher agricultural productivity leading to improved food accessibility and security status.
