Krzysztof (Kris) Iniewski, Ph.D., manages R&D developments at Redlen Technologies, a manufacturer of high resolution Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) semiconductors in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and is also executive director of CMOS Emerging Technologies Inc. (www.cmoset.com). His research interests are in hardware design for medical and networking applications. From 2004 to 2006, Dr. Iniewski was an associate professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Alberta, where he conducted research on low-power wireless circuits and systems. Previously, he held various technical and management positions in industry, developing a number of VLSI chips used in optical networks, and he was also an assistant professor at the University of Toronto. Dr. Iniewski has published more than 100 research papers and holds 18 international patents granted in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, and Japan.
