The monograph is devoted to the integration of small and medium-sized businesses in Taiwan in innovation activities. The author studied the stages of economic development of Taiwan and the country¿s innovation policy, analyses the regulatory documents of Taiwan in the field of SMEs regulation and support for innovation. Special attention is paid to the study of the role of the Taiwan SME Association. Based on the questionnaires developed by the author, a survey of the top managers of SMEs companies was conducted to explore the possibility of strengthening integration between the Republic of China (R. O. C) and the Baltic States. The results of the study are reflected in the conclusions.It is recommended to the students and the university academic staff dealing with the integration of SMEs in innovation, as well as to all those interested in and studying the Asia-Pacific region and the Baltic States.
