Back in the day, I was known as a bit of an oddball, the kid who could usually be found tucked away in a corner with a book, lost in worlds far more colorful than the one outside my window. In hindsight, I should've just stayed with the fictional characters instead of learning how to socialize. My journey through the highs and lows of love has played a significant role in shaping my worldview and literary voice. After dating a series of questionable men, Ive gained a wealth of insight into the complexities of human relationships, which I now weave into my stories. True love is apparently sold out, so the best I can do are poems in my Notes app. Im Felicia, 25, and I have never gotten over anything in my life - or learned to shut up. And Im going to make this everybodys problem now.
