Autorenporträt
Gene Upchurch is a native of Durham and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a sportswriter before embarking on a 28-year career in public aairs, community relations, and legislative advocacy in the utility industry. He is a proud recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the State of North Carolina's highest civilian honor. His previous novels, The Eno Club and Burnt, have not been international bestsellers nor was his collection of short stories, Vanessa. Hope springs eternal.He lives in Pinehurst, North Carolina, with his wife, Lisa.
