In addition, it is estimated that a large population of smokers is ignorant about the health consequences of their habit.Dental clinics in primary health care centers have the potential to introduce large scale intervention programs that have the potential of reaching the majority of society. This study helped identify major behavioral patterns of practitioners in these clinical setting. It also shed a light on potential areas for development in the process of integrating cessation practices into dental clinics.
